China's Premier, Li Keqiang Begins Official Visit to Cambodia

Phnom Penh: On November 9, 2022, Premier Li Keqiang started an official visit to Cambodia. Premier Li landed in Cambodia on Prime Minister Hun Sen's invitation on the evening of November 8.

On the afternoon of November 9, Premier Li Keqiang laid a wreath at the Independence Monument and paid tribute at the Royal Memorial Statue of the late king, His Majesty NORODOM SIHANOUK, before meeting with Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen at the Peace Palace.

Premier Li was warmly welcomed by PM Hun Sen at the Peace Palace before an official meeting there where it was anticipated that approximately 20 agreements would be signed between the two nations.

During this official visit, PM Hun Sen and Premier Li Keqiang will preside over the inauguration ceremony of the Phnom Penh-Sihanoukville Expressway.
